Fried 3 Layer Belly Pork Thai Street Food

Fried 3 Layer Belly Pork  thai street food

If you dont like this one i dont get it.
Its used on many Thailand Food Dishes.
A classic and a main ingredient for many Thai recipes!
Moo Grob (หมูกรอบ) is Crispy Deep Fried Pork Belly used in
Pad Kaphrao Moo Grob, Pad Kana Moo Grob, or Pad Phrik Pao Moo Grob
and some more as well.

Wash the pork belly and remove hairs from the skin as necessary.
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pork belly for 1 hour or until the skin is soft and translucent.
Once the pork belly is done, use a fork to poke holes into the skin and then use a knife to make a shallow grid-pattern in the skin. Mix the salt with the vinegar and rub this mixture into the skin.
Allow the pork belly to dry in the sun for at least 3 hours. If it’s not entirely dry after this amount of time, place it in the oven at 180 degrees for as long as needed to finish drying (one hour is generally enough).
Once the pork belly is dry, you can either fry immediately or place in the refrigerator overnight for additional crispiness and then fry.
To fry, place the pork belly in a pot of oil at medium high heat and cook just until the skin is crispy (approximately 5 minutes). Be very careful as the pork belly has a tendency to pop!
Chop the pork belly into bite-sized pieces and enjoy.

More complaint filed against Magic Skin by dealers

A group of dealers of Magic Skin products lodged a complaint with Pol Gen Veerachai Songmetta, the national deputy chief, at the Royal Thai Police head office on Sunday, claiming that he had purchased 20 million baht worth of the Kao brand products from the company and had not received any products from it nor was refunded.

The group’s lawyer, Mr Ronnarong Kaewpetch, told the media that the dealers found out that the Kao brand products they bought from Magic Skin were manufactured from the same plant which was earlier raided by police and officials from the Food and Drug Administration’s Office.

They complained that they had not received any of the products they ordered from the company nor were they refunded.

Pol Gen Veerachai said officials had discovered that the ingredients found in Kao products did not match with the ingredients announced in the advertisements.  For that matter, he said the company could be faulted for public fraud and this would be a separate offence from the earlier offences allegedly committed by the firm.

Train derails near Hua Lamphong station, but no passengers hurt

Railway workers at Hua Lamphong railway terminal have been working since this morning (Sunday) to remove a derailed train carriage, to fix damaged rail tracks in order to restore normal train service.

In-bound and out-bound train service at Hua Lamphong train station has been suspended after a carriage of Bangkokp-Kaeng Khoi train Noo 342 derailed as it was approaching the station.

An official of the State Railway of Thailand the carriage derailed at the time when a mechanic shifted the rail track.  The derailed carriage tilted one side, blocking both in-bound and out-bound rail tracks.  There were three passengers in the derailed carriage, but none of them were hurt.

All trains leaving Hua Lamphong station were suspended and in-bound trains with destinations at Hua Lampohong were forced to stop at Bang Sue or Samsen stations to allow passengers to disembark as workers tried to fix the problem.

SRT originally estimated that the maintenance would take about three hours.
